This PowerPoint presentation focuses on the tarot in segments: Tarot History, Swords, Wands, Cups, Pentacles. Varying tarot decks will be highlighted to illustrate the variety found in decks but narrowing interpretations through traditional symbolism. Special attention will be given to Golden Dawn meanings as well as the esoteric symbols on the cards. We will examine the numbers across suits, such as what all 2s have in common, etc. At the end of each suit overview, participants will read with only the suit we just covered by answering simple questions that I will present at the end of each suit. Knowing how to phrase questions will also be discussed, for example in reading court cards; Is it a person or situation? A take home worksheet for practice will be provided for personal practice.
